Default Braking at speed cameras

If frustrates me that people that are not speeding brake at speed cameras.

Yesterday I was overtaken in a 40mph limit, the car pulled back across me and braked as we got to the speed camera. My cruise was set to 40mph according to my dash cam. I had to take evasive action so I did not hit him.

Why do people think overtaking, pulling back in front of the vehicle they have overtaken and braking is an acceptable and safe way to drive?
Driver would not speak to me at the red traffic lights we got to

They're not thinking Ian (either about their speed, the road ahead or you). Best to keep well away from them.

I agree with the above. You do not want to mess with idiots. They will drag you to their inteligence level and beat you with experience.

There is a driving test but there isn't a stupid test unfortunately, even saying that I think many of these idiots don't even posses a licence.

Sign of the times.

Can you imagine some of the high scores, they could publish a public leaderboard.

I had this on the M5 on Monday. Not for a speed camera, but for their junction. I was doing a steady 60mph towing the caravan in the inside lane. Car came flying by in the 3rd lane, indicated and swung across in to the inside lane in front of me and braked right down to 50mph. I had to hit the brakes and was down to 45mph, then had to build up speed again pull out to overtake them as their junction wasn't actually for another mile!

He’d probably been held up once too many times in a long snake on a single carriageway road by a caravan........

pulling out in front of a caravan, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-vW2qXV1_4

In the video you need to take note of other traffic and what the dash cam over takes and over takes them
