If it fits your mirror you can still use it by wiring to fuse box.
I came down the centre pillar and along the side of the carpet on the near side

Default auto dimming mirror

Thank you for the advice i am trying to use the loom i bought in error with the later white plug i cross referenced the black 18 pin socket on my rave disk it is part number is YPC111800 i found this plug was used on the IPK loom on Rover 75 ,Rangerover L322 and BMW E87,E90 and other looms on these cars i have bought a used IPK loom end from a BMW E90 and i am going to attempt to change the white plug on my 2004 Rover 75 se roof loom and if that fails i will do it the way you have into the fuse box

Thanks Tony
