Removal of C-post badge?
Hello,
I'm not sure if this query constitutes'Technical', but I'm sure the Moderator will judge. The Rover badge on the C-post went missing sometime in the last few weeks, probably via a carwash. I have sourced a replacement from Opelise.com which is the emblem complete with its frame. The latter is self-adhesive, with a waxed paper backing. I guess, therefore, that removal of the existing frame will require the application of heat, but how much. Is a hairdryer likely to be adequate at this time of year - or ever? I want to avoid damage to the paintwork. Thanks for any advice, Derek. |

They just pop off with a screwdriver, the c pillar trim is easily removed, one posi screw then gently lever it off.
You can then take it inside where it is warmer 👍

Thanks, Trikey, for that excellent advice; simple and logical. Thanks also, Suzublu for showing me what I will be dealing with. I'll post the outcome at the weekend.
