I'd say short one. Long one does not look right or genuine. What is on the end of it?

short one is what rimmers show, so atm its raining and car is getting worked on in street so will check later, only thing I can think of is the threads have been stripped years back, on the end of the long bolt is like a captive nut it jams in position as you tighten the bolt up.
what does the bolt screw into

As I see it, most bolts on the car use a heavy flanged head type rather than a 'standard' bolt with a loose washer.

Debs is correct, however looking at it, it would appear to have picked up on the threads.

Caution should be exercised here, make sure you don't end up with a scenario where the trailing arm needs to be replaced
