Default Rover 3500

My 3500th post just like the good ol' Rover V8 (Yes, I know it was actually 3528cc)

N.B. This post is not spam but is genuinely informative with genuine Rover related content.

OK, so remember that your 3,528th post have to be V8 related then, too.

I own 2 Rover 3500s. Neither of them are on the road at the moment, though. One of them has a very rare option - a metal slide and tilt roof.

My B has a Rover 3500 engine in it. The blue one in the pic.

My 1982 brochure lists the manual steel sunroof as standard on all models except the 2000 (optional) and the VdP (electric as standard instead). I don't have to hand my very old brochure which has the '78 spec, which obviously would be rather different.

Wish I still had my 3500.
