Rover 75 black badge
Watching a video and I saw a black 75 badge with a chrome Viking on it (for some reason my picture won’t upload). It’s not like the normal Rover badges but is in the same shape to fit the grille.
This particular one is on a facelift 54 plate. Does anyone know what they’re called and where I can find one? |

Rover 75 black badge
Here’s the picture of it, not sure why it wouldn’t let me put it in the original post. Does anyone know what it’s called and where I can get one? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

My 2004 Contemporary SE Tourer has a black badge with a chrome longship on the numberplate plinth on the tailgate which is original but much smaller than a grille badge which is the normal coloured version.

The badge pictured is fitted to a Mk1 75 (pre-facelift).
As said, they were never widely available & not a genuine MGR item. Only a very small number exists so you'll be very lucky to get one I think unless you can persuade someone to part with their badge |

Rover 75 black badge
Quote:
The car the badge is on was scrapped in 2015 so that’s one less around now...😞 The car it’s pictured with is a MK2 you just can’t see the whole grille as that was the only closeup of the badge I could get Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Brilliant, I'd love one for the facelift Tourer, the badge that's on is very scruffy.
More to think about as need to get pair of replacement headlights and the front bumper re-sprayed after the other day. JohnnyBG |
