Default Good long time friend

If you recall ? about Eric Druyts Pulley problem at our Yeovilton Meeting in 2019, that was sorted out by my Mate Wes and myself .

I've not visited Wes, who gave up his garage and time to help us . due to the covid lockdown and thats he's been on and off Chemo for prostate Cancer for a fair length of time.

But tend to call him on occasions.

I've missed a few weeks so called yesterday to find out how he was getting along, and totally shocked to hear he was in Hospital due to having 2 Strokes in a short space of time .

Awful situation considering his cancer treatment has been quite successful.

His speech was a bit affected and he's left arm is a bit weak, but he's stil with us .

Known Wes for over 30 years and bar a couple of months we are the same age ...

Chris

Wes not improved very much so far , left arm still weak, hearing a bit down. and worst of all sight impaired .

Wes is a Avid Biker , so this is really going to affect him , and 5 days before his first stroke , he posted photos of his finally rebuilt BSA Bantam 175 which has taken over 30 years to finish off ( with odd help from me over the years ) ..

so a double bike disaster ..
