The timing of the lane change I feel is situation dependent and not a hard and fast rule that you need to move across at an exact point. The lane direction signs at a mile, 1/2 mile etc are purely giving information about which lane goes where in a "mile", "1/2" mile and don't mean that you need to change lane at that point. macafee2 |

Can i just say... ;-) ;-) ;-) Lane 1 is for driv....... Th rest is upto you.
If any one as built a motorway they will find they are infenatly more complex than th lay person would ever know. If th cows in th field next to th motorway are brucilously eccredited, would that mean th fence holding then inn afto be of a different standard than th norm. ???? I darnt mention up coming camera's in th armco and etchings in th road under bridges as that might bring on great worry!!! They know more about us than you think.

Dave, I think I maybe victim of my age but the Highway code was always said to be an advisory a guide and was not a statement of Statute law which which is the "will, must etc. and failing to adhere to its advice whilst it could be used as a contributory factor in legal proceedings was not in itself an offence. If its changed from that obviously Im wrong in my statement. Cheers either way. Chris S.

Could we write in English rather than what I assume is text speak? Inn = in, th = the, as = has, then = them, Darnt = dare not, infenatly = infinitely. "brucilously eccredited", "afto" I have not a clue what they are meant to mean. |
