I've used a small square of gorilla tape, almost invisible and watertight, until I get some replacements .

It may be a bird. I have had crows attack bits of trim on my cars frequently in the past.

I've seen what this site regards as a very, very, very naughty word having a go at one of my door mirrors. The mirrors seem to be a favourite of spiders to spin their webs on so I initially thought that the very, very, very small bird was after insects. However on googling its behaviour it would seem that the little t!t was having a scrap with its own reflection in the mirror.

When I park my Mum’s Focus at the shore of Belfast Lough for a bit of contemplation, Pied Wagtails fly up and peck hard at the windscreen rubber seal. They don’t touch the Rover.

Despite a lifelong interest in birds, I’m at a loss to know why…

I used the Halfraud’s grommets, but they needed a dab of Evostik to hold them in place… they’ve been there for several years now though.
