Default Dodge muscle cars end of an era.

The Dodge Charger/Challenger ICE muscle cars are to be phased out in 2024 to make way for their electric counterparts, The Ford Mustang guys weren't happy that they put the Mustang marque on the Mach-e Mustang I wonder if the Dodge purist will be happy if Dodge put the Charger/Challenger marque on their electric "muscle cars". https://electrek.co/2021/11/22/the-m...#disqus_thread

why can they not have an electric muscle car? Is it not the torque that gives the muscle car its name/reputation? Of course there will not be the V8 sound and vibration, but for the driver, at least, that can be piped through the speakers, whilst still pushing the occupants into the seat. Additionally, throw an *adult device* under the seat for the vibration too, and the full experience is returned lol.

Seriously though, an electric muscle car to me is achievable.

It wasn't so much the use of the name Mustang that irritated me. I just wish they'd left it looking like a mustang instead of some ugly SUV type looking thing. If they were going to make a different car, give it a different name.
