Default 51 plate diesel - stalled and wont start

An auto sparks who has done my car great service in the past rang me today - he is working a 51 plate 75 diesel that was going fine took a corner and came to a halt and he cannot get it going.

The car turns over but no rail pressure. He has checked the cam and crank sensors and swopped them out - his scanner cannot read the ECU - i advised a 51 diesel is not i think OBD compliant.

What i have suggested - from a low knowledge of diesels is

1. Under bonnet fuel pump playing up ( have asked him to check if the tank is less that a quarter full) - in tank FP has pressure
2. Faulty injector - do a leakback test
3. Car has a sun roof - so i did suggest water ingress to the immobiliser ECU -he is going to check
4 . And finally an ECU swim - but the ECU looks oK and he has one of those ECU repair outfits look at it and they say its ok- have pointed him in the direction of Big Russ if a new ECU is required

So is there any other possible issues that comes to mind - many thanks in advance.

Ref Number 1 suggestion...... Under bonnet stopped, Solution Give it a clout with a blunt instrument. Worked for me when mine suddenly stopped.

You seem to have covered most things.--Any of the fuel system sensors maybe.--
