How many are actually left?
Looking at the website, the total number of 75s left in this country (licensed or SORN) appears to be approximately 600. Without the website, I wouldn't even be able to hazard a guess at how many there are, so I'm happy to believe the number shown. However, what I find hard to believe is the data from about 15 years ago, when the total number on British roads never reached 800 - is that really accurate? Or am I not using the website properly?

I think your numbers are for cars where the specific model is not specified. You would need to add model specific number to obtain the total.

From what I've read elsewhere here the "how many left" website isn't accurate.

Just put in Rover 75 on the website and you will get 1000's, the last time I looked there was 8 pages and some models were in the several hundreds.

Thanks to everyone who has replied. I didn't think the numbers were right! The strange thing is that it's only possible to specify certain models on the site - and of the available options, three of them are LWB, whereas the 2.5L models don't feature.

Just cut and pasted the figures for all 8 pages into Excel. The total comes to 73,254. Seems an awful lot to me . probably not right.

there are 13,600 Rover 75 still on the road and around 3500 MGZT cars so a good number still on the British roads. over 17000 motors, not rare.

Not everyone is an enthusiast! A lot are driven by people because they are cheap cars, or they have owned them for years
They are not classic cars, to most people they are old bangers
