Evening all, I have been up North since Friday, I followed other folks advice and decided to get away for a couple of days.

Caught up with my kids Friday, then Saturday I caught up with Saxo1980 then I headed over the A68 in a blizzard to Newcastle and stayed over at marinabrians where curry and a couple of beers was the order of the night, many tears flowed and we (Sort of) Put the world to rights as Meg chased Alfie all around his home!

Sunday mornings dog walk was the wettest I have ever had, and it was bl00dy freezing as well. Didnt matter in the big scheme of things, it was only wetness.

I'm back home now after a 5 hour drive South, thankfully the weather got a tad warmer the nearer home I got.

Just want to say a big thanks to Brian & Chris for their hospitality, and for being more than a mate, never mind his genius with our cars, he is a bloomin diamond.

Another storm due to hit Tuesday. Shed lost in the last one (blown apart by the wind) but hopefully being on the east coast this next storm, Barra, will spare us the worst of its power. Ireland, west of the UK and south west coast forecast to bear the brunt.

Wet Start in Edinburgh..... Was cold overnight and ice on the cars but warmed up during the night to melt the ice.

It's a miserable cold rainy day here, I've been to put the wheelie bins out & that's me lot for outside duties.

Just got a cracking bargain on ebay for a i5 quad core desktop pc to replace my old media centre PC for the living room, £19.61
