My apologies for any part that I may have played in depriving you of this evening's entertainment.

So, the outcome is that some, if not many, if not all, politicians told some porkies. Who new? Blimey, aren't we a gullible lot? Who new BJ was not reliable?
And what about our national broadcaster? Reduced from a patient and religiously even-handed sainted Auntie. With a Wedgwood biscuit barrel on her ancient upright piano with one or two notes a bit off-key - so producing more than a few out of tune hymns. Now she has cross-dressed to a harlot who blows the gaff? Oh no, naivete is blooming once again. In my view we should be eternally grateful to young master Raphael Marshall for his honourable and brave reporting of this gross behaviour that is merely representative of what is happening all over the country. His fresh faced candour puts the rest of his colleagues to shame. All working 'from home' apparently. Only they won't be work colleagues for long. The crooked bunch he serves will heave him over the side at the first opportunity, once the hue and cry subsides. We deserve better, whatever we believe to be the truth - and that seems to be in vanishingly short supply.

My problem with the BBC is the totally biased reporting, if Boris or any of his cronies have any indescretions they are hung, Kia {Mr Hindsight ) and his lot can do no wrong. In my view it should be totally unbiased.

my question on the topic is, why has it not been headline news months ago, or was it and I've forgotten? Were there no reporters hanging around Downing street, have the reporters lost that scoop ability.

Simon, what happened to poor Arthur is so sad. I do however wonder whether there was incompetence at play in the social care teams or is this a case of social workers being made scapegoats for severe funding/resourcing shortages leading to a situation that no one is able to do their job effectively. I am not sure what the truth is but blaming social services is just too obvious and an oven-ready solution. It doesn't feel too dissimilar to overworked teachers being blamed for shortcomings in the education system. |

A feeling of bias amongst others is often the result of one's own bias and prejudices! I thought I would get this in before you stop talking to me as well. |
