Loosen the latch bolts off a little and they will probably be fine.

Hi Tom.
As above did you try adjusting the latches with the 8mm bolts either side you only need to undo them a tiny little, until you get the required smooth movement of the half moon.

Yes, I have since loosened them off a little more and the bonnet latch feels a lot more trustworthy. Hopefully that’s the end of the issue for now.
