Dull Start to the day but dry, was expecting to wake up to snow as the skies last night just looked full of snow.

Cheers Andy and remembered Deb, I did have a Guinness in Dublin to you both and it went down a treat, smooth and very cold.

[QUOTE=WillyHeckaslike;2913176]Flight to Nairobi delayed I see though scheduled to arrive soon.
Edit: Landed over 1.5 hours ago ... UK and Nairobi time difference not allowed for above. Lol. Thank you Steve for following the flight from Amsterdam. The reason for the delay was a sudden change of aircraft from a Boeing 787-10 to an older 777-200 which landed “hot”. 10 miles out on approach at 23,000’ it was doing 563mph. Surprisingly not a bumpy landing, so 10/10 to the flight crew who did their best to make up for the delayed departure. It was a relief to get off the plane, the flight was full and I had been wearing face masks since arriving at Dublin airport yesterday morning at 02:00 A strange one - I was sitting aisle seat near the front of the plane in “economy comfort”, seats with extra leg room and extra recline. I had a bizarre experience with a passenger who was sitting next to me in the same row. He got up to go to the toilets next to the galley, no issue, I got up to let him out. On his return, as he went to sit down in his seat, he slapped his shovel like hand over the top of my head!, could he sit down. Wtf, I was most put out, had he washed his hands in the toilet and what about Covid. Later on I caught sight of him removing his mask to dig into his nose and eat from it, ghastly individual. As soon as I got back home, it was clothes off, a hot shower. The pleasure of flying isn’t what it used to be. What are your plans for Christmas? |

Afternoon all, Brr! the temps are dropping fast now. Don't you just hate it when you get the tracking delivered email that your item has been delivered at 10:00am but it hasn't
I've been emailing with the seller all afternoon but he says it's been delivered, I said do you want me to send you a video file of my front door for the entire morning? let alone 10:00am delivery time because I've just sat through watching the CCTV recording to make I didn't miss him whilst I was on the lavy It's gone quite & they haven't replied. Baked spud, Lemon sole & broccoli for tea tonight.

Just about to pour a couple of drams so that we can raise a glass for Debs. Keep strong Andy. It gets chilly up North! Pop in when you are ready to.
