Evening all, By heck it's cold out there now, the temps are around 0C & forecast for -3C overnight. Just won a foldable wheelchair on the ebay in the next town about two miles away for my missus, She was struggling with a walking stick & today trying to do a bit of shopping with me came to an abrupt halt & I had to take her straight home.
I'm going to collect it tomorrow morning.

Seemed to have a few pizza's in the freezer so Pizza & potato wedgies for tea it is then.

Cool

Just having a wee glass of Kraken spicy rum, for medicinal reasons.

Think the Bear might be costing me a few bob.

Taking the car or riding it home?

Evening all
After moving house on the 17th December and now that the festive holidays are over I've spent sometime today updating insurances etc with some interesting results. Car insurance has gone up by a massive £1.93p but home insurance is almost 25% lower, council tax is less for a 2 bed semi detached bungalow than it was for a 1 bed terraced but the biggest surprise is still the cost of fuel, diesel at £1.38 in Cambridgeshire against £1.52 in Dorset.
Just got to get used to de icing the car and not seeing the sea from the lounge window.

Morning Steve and welcome to the day.

I am also on blood thinners and use the lateral flow test kits. I wouldn’t be using the nasal swabs sticking them in like their a pitch fork, gently gently is the key.
Whatever works for you is okay with me

Good morning all.

Proper frost last night. Everything looks very pretty with it's white coating. But, by heck, it's cold out there. Even Quizzie has shortened her morning routine to the absolute necessities and forewent the inspection of the garden. She'll probably still go swimming later though. .

Keep warm and safe.
