Happy New Year Dawn and Julien, a very good morning, thank you your grace

It’s great to hear from you. Hope you are both well and keeping active.

I think our trip to a family wedding in The United Arab Emirates next month will have to be cancelled as they have put Kenya on their banned list. All being well, its is back to the UK for the spring and summer.

Jessica is improving. This morning she walked in the forest and then swam in the pool. She is doing Yoga and no longer has to wear the chest brace (last year she had fractured her spine in 3 places). Standing for long periods is painful for her, but it is not as bad as it used to be.
How time flies since we last met up

Trying hard to rain here. Sods law, have to go out.

Think I've defeated the squirrel by managing to move the anti climb dome higher up on the pole, seems to be beyond its leaping range now.

Ging fried sliced aubergines for her "breakfast" after the nightshift. I really don't like the smell of cooking in the morning, turns my stomach.

Raining Now and it's a bit blustery, meant to be meeting a friend later for a coffee at Asda.

There's a warning for snow here but, hopefully, it won't materialise. The earlier cooking smells dissipated enough to be able to have my breakfast!

Yep, snowing here too. Sort of. Very fine and not even trying to settle.

Well, Quizzie almost managed her walk without a swim. She turned down several opportunities and I thought she was in sensible mode - for once .

But no, at the last chance, in she went. And again, and again. A good shake off (guess where/who she chose to be near......) and off she trotted.

Back home now with a steaming pint mug of tea and a curled up, fast asleep, dog .

It's what memories are made of.

Cool

We have heavy rain now.

Well the good news that it’s not the Bears ECU that is at fault, chances it’s a coil pack. Got a couple coming from Jeff Turbo off of here.
