Evening all, not done much today apart from a nice walk this morning, I did go in the garage for half an hour but came back in as it was way too cold for me.

Evening everyone.
Managed to get Banana washed between the showers. Still ploughing my way through my lovely chicken casserole. Chillin’ with a single malt.

I am not a happy bunny to say the least, I'm absolutely furious! I'd posted on a Tissot watch forum to try to identify the watch I'd inherited from my uncle. I got what was basically an ignorant reply saying the watch I thought was the holy grail was a run of the mill one from the early '90s. I inherited the watch from a much loved uncle who is no longer with us, I have no interest in the watch's value, I was just curious. Posted my opinion of the person who replied then deleted all references to said forum from my laptop.

I was livid at the tone of the reply Bob! All I did was ask for help identifying the watch and the gist of the reply was you thought you had a valuable watch . . . . ha ha, it isn't! If he's an example of the membership I ain't going back.

In 1945, my dad was sent to Canada on a hospital ship and whilst he was there, he bought a Rolex Victory Military watch before he was sent back to the UK. A piece of family history which is important to our family. I wouldn’t be fussed with the watch forum you went to. |

Morning Phil, morning all.
All good here so far. I'm having my second retinal laser treatment tomorrow morning. At least I know what to expect this time round. Hoping that the electrician will finally get in touch so we can get the consumer unit installed and switched on in the studio. Will be nice to get it properly finished! Other than that, not much else to report. How's things with Jessica and yourself ?

Morning all.
Sort of dull, grey and boring here. Not much happening weather wise. Steve - I simply don't get the reply you had about your inherited lovely watch. Why? You were simply asking for some help. I've posted many times that one, possibly the main, reason that I own a 75 is this forum. While I was looking I visited a few forums and the amount of information I was given ranged from the utterly useless to some weird sort of one one-upmanship dissing the car I was thing about but without any sort of helpful pointers about what to actually look for. Enjoy your watch and remember what a great bloke your uncle was whenever you think about it. Take care everyone. |

Morning all,
Dull start to the day, got to take the wee lad to the dentist this afternoon for a tooth extraction, try as we might we have been telling him to wobble his tooth out as per the Dentist's advice to save this trip to the dentist. Fingers crossed the Dentist will get it out and does not cause too much distress to the wee lad. Then I have my Mental Health Support Group, so all in all a busy day for me. Davy
