My good lady has been doing a few veggie things and I've actually been very impressed with most of them. Spanakopita (greek pie) is one of my favourites (after having the real thing). It does have feta cheese in it, with spinach, flakey pastry and fresh mint (not something that I would have thought that I would like) and it is delicious.
Bright and sunny with a very frosty start. Wrap up and a good walk later I think. Have a look at the sea, then have a hot chocolate to warm up. Take care all.

Morning all, morning Ian

How was the veggie pizza?

I went through a phase of not eating bacon after driving behind a truck loaded up with pigs going off to the market or to the slaughterhouse. I could see their piggy snouts sticking out of the back of the truck, it’s strange how that put me off eating bacon.

Yum that does sound good, Our daughter brings vegetarian meals every now & then & as you say some of them are very good indeed.

I think the only vegetarian meal I make regular is vegetable soup which I love this time of year.

Morning all from a brilliantly bright and sunny Midlands.

Home safely after the usual entertainments on the A1/M18/M1/A42 on the journey home.

Anyway, they say never work with animals and children so here's the photos from cuppa time at Rich's after our walk.......

So, we start off with a nicely set up shot - and 2 of the 3 subjects decide to move just as I take the photo. Where's Jeff when you need him.

This is followed up by the 4 legged furry one not wanting to keep still at all.....

and finally completely upstaging the bloke who lives there.....

It's amazing how a 2 year old can keep still when there's Dangermouse on the telly .

Cheers Rich.

Well catch up soon. The tea was very welcome

That's sods law, Suzy hates having her photo taken, she'll look away, close her eyes, anything. The only time you'll get a decent shot of her is if you catch her by surprise.

This is a classic "you're not taking my photo" Suzy trick a few years ago, her and a young Poppy.

LOL Is that her Grumpy face look

The washing machine has been smelling moldy lately! I put a sachet of washing machine cleaner in it last week with just a slight improvement
I've just put a bottle of bleach in it & set it on a wash cycle. I think whilst I'm a slob I'd better just wash my clothes first just in case there's any bleach residue left in it
