Sad day,
I think he enjoyed himself over those 74 years though.
Only a week or so after Burke Shelley from Budgie (for those who remember them), not as famous, but just as influential IMHO.

Thank you for this i didnt know..... When th wife gets up i shall livern th front room up with a bit of "Bandolier" What a tight 2 & th 4 set up. Saw them in 1975 i think in Viccy hall Hanley Stoke then latter in Limelight Crewe. Brilliant..

That's sad news.

There was no way on earth of getting somewhere faster than "Bat out of Hell" shaking the speakers and drowning out all the other noises coming from my 850 Mini .

Sad. I used to play Bat Out Of Hell then scare the cr@p out of myself taking the bike for a blast on the twisty coast road down to North Berwick.
