Default Exhaust heat shields

Anyone know if the front (the long cat. back section) shield for the V6 is significantly different to the 1800 Turbo version - ie are they interchangeable and equally effective?
I still have the original intermediate exhaust fitted to my 2004 (170K miles...) Contemporary (ie it's still integrated with the cat. section) but both boxes are now beginning to go around the welds. Whilst it's off I'd like to renew the heat shield but the V6 version is apparently NLA (I'd be interested in a used one in good condition if anyone has one to offer)

is the one in situ still serviceable ? if so remove it if needed , and reshape and use penny washers to re attatch, they all go elongated eventually at the fixing points. you could use something off the bay second hand. i doubt the models are that much different between themselves, even a new one will look the same in a few months time.
