Default Nearly 600 mls 75 CDTI Tourer round trip last Friday

From northern edge of N Yorks to Camberley in Surrey via West Wickham in Cambridgeshire. Collecting a motorcycle. Borrowed a trailer from a fellow motorcycle club member at West Wickham (the long way round as A14 closed) down to Camberley and home.

Not such a hard job in the Rover. The motorcycle wouldn't fit in the Alhambra and with hindsight, a good job too.

I always enjoy my trips down to Camberley in my 75. It's where I got my current CDTI from...one year ago today.
I would never have come across this car had it not been for my nephew asking me if I was interested in it, as his next door neighbour was selling it.

Boy, was that a lucky day for me.

Years back I did a road trip over to the welsh coast to buy a Honda. Stripped it and fitted it in the boot of my Rover 45. While chatting to the vendor he mentioned he had an old Ariel 350 in his garage.
A couple of years later I spotted it for sale on ebay and bought it. This time he'd already stripped it so it went in the 75 no problem at all :¬)
Good job I like jigsaw puzzles,
Weird thing was a few months later I found the original log book for my first car - it came from the same village!
