Default Sill clips – should I be worried?

Well I just received a bag of 12 sill clips from Rimmers. I opted for buying them from them albeit twice as expensive as other suppliers, mainly because in their picture they had the ones with black bits on them – as were the original broken ones. However, out of the 12, only 5 have the black bits.
The black fitted ones are DDQ100460, the unfitted ones DDQ100461.

I'm presuming they will do the same job, but why the difference? What does the black bit do? Do I need to return them? At £30 it's a bit steep.
If I knew they don't need the black bit I could have saved £12+ from elsewhere. Should I worry?

From memory (which can be dodgy at times!)

The clips with the black insert fit at the very end of the sill trim.

Apologies for hijacking this, particularly as I've not posted in months (I have valid reasons) but are those the clips for the plastic finishing type bars that are inside the car on the floor before the doors and cover the edge of the carpet?

I need some. They fell apart shortly after I bought the CDTI Facelift Tourer. As I'm now coming up towards 100k with it I thought I'd do some tidying up.

Sorry JBG, these clips were for the long finish strip below the doors above the sill.
