Default Profiteering

I just passed through Offham, near Lewes East Sussex. The Garage there was charging 147.9 for diesel, 10p more per litre than other garages I passed. I would rather crawl than be ripped off like that. I hope people remember when the fuel situation stabilises. I certainly won't use it again.

I remember one of the local garages here did similar during the 2001 fuel blockade. Once the crisis ended they were heavily boycotted and went out of business.

And in Cheltenham

I was there today with work and I was amazed to see Diesel at 12p a litre more than Petrol, I presumed it was premium Diesel but it was standard Diesel.

Total rip off.

It's very noticeable how prices rise instantly with higher wholesale oil prices, but seem to lag considerably when oil prices fall
