It seems to be fixed, my son popped over to have a look for me this afternoon and we all know how clever the younger generation are with stuff like this.

He went through everything and suggested we pull the memory cards as he said it was not reading one of them, once removed it stopped rebooting. One had IGO on it and the other had some of my music, he put them in his phone and it turns out the one with IGO on was kn4ckered.

Interestingly I have heard nothing from Xtrons as of yet.

I now need to find a free downloadable satnav, Google maps is OK but on long journeys I dont like having my phone on.

Pleased you've found the problem .

And the next bit is why I won't be having another Xtrons unit.

Good Luck finding a decent Sat Nav for the Xtrons. I use a stand alone Garmin Unit so can't offer any advice.

Have a word with Jubbs Andy,I'm sure he had a UK based service/repair depot when he was trading.

I use Sygic on my Xtrons unit for offline maps which works a treat.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

How much is that going to cost, it will not be free.

My advice is again send it back for a full refund and look elsewhere, it would appear that their customer after care service is very poor.

I told Xtrons it seems to be sorted and I have an Email thanking me for telling them and please feel free to contact them if I have any further problems.

Then I have had an Email again today wishing me a Happy Christmas.

There seems to be a 24 hour delay between sending them an Email and a reply but so far there customer service seems to be OK.
