Default Moose test

Moose test, swerving through a line of cones simulating having to avoid a mouse. The test was made "famous" by the Mercedes A class rolling over.
This was interesting but the shock came at 6:34

Not surprised about the Xantia, before I had 75's, I had 4 Xantias, great cars that handled very well.

Isn't it something like the Saab's a A pillars are rated to withstand 4 tons?

The Mouse Test has been superseded by the Rabbit Test. It's more testing for the car's stability as one aims the car.......

If I remember correctly one of their managers was killed when his car hit a Moose so they then designed the cars to be able to withstand a direct hit.

From memory, the Xantia Activa could pull more lateral G than most contemporary supercars!
