I have been using an android box with kodi for a few weeks now using the freeview addon. It has been fine until tonight when the bbc channels will only play an audio stream. No video. Other freeview channels are ok, and other apps play bbc ok, so whats going on there then?

It is probably the BBC blocking it,They will be round shortly asking for a licence fee to watch it.

But bbc iplayer app works ok, just the freeview addon doesnt, and in any case ive got a license. I prefer the freeview addon because all channels are in one place instead of messing about with different players

Just a little reminder please; while Kodi is open source and it is absolutely fine to discuss it, please refrain from discussing how, or giving advice on, accessing subscription or restricted content illegally.

John, you need to go on Youtube & search for Kodi tutorials, especially how to install builds such as Wookie, or Pulse It looks daunting but it's quite easy
