Always liked the show tbh, just wish Mike would stop parking his a**e on the bonnets of cars, one of my pet hates.
Looking forward to the new series though, Ant is the kind of bloke i would like to work on my cars.

I'll be watching on Velocity, or Motor Trend as it's called now, a few days before UK gets it

There was something in one of the classic car mags with him doing a yellow E type I think, like anybody can afford one of those now.

Maybe he wanted too much money or the programme makers didnt think there was enough demand? It could of course have been made and waiting to be shown when there are no other programs of a similar type on.

Mine as well!! I had a nice royal blue Ford Anglia 105E - with wide wheels and an aftermarket rev counter on the dash!!! And my mates like to sit on the cars and the copper rivets of their jeans used to scratch the cars!!!

I cannot believe Mike Brewer still thinks it OK to park his backside on cars?

Having seen the new series (aired in the UK) coming up, it's still based in the US, as the production company which has taken over, & Edd disagreed with the direction, have diluted the techy stuff in favour of "entertainment".
They've done it with lots of motoring programmes on the new MotorTrend channel, used to be Velocity.
The list being 1976 Mercury Capri MK2, 1995 Volvo 850 T-5R Wagon, 1991 Toyota MR2 Turbo, 2002 Corvette C5 Z06, 1991 Alfa Romeo 164L, 1983 Volkswagen Rabbit GTI, 2004 Dodge Ram SRT-10, and a 1991 Lotus Elan M100.

Are they staying out in the US, or are the cars being restored UK ones again?

I personally only enjoy the UK editions of Wheeler Dealers and won’t watch the newer USA-centric co-productions.
