Your operation is a little more than a week Phil, mine will be on Wednesday this week and I’m hoping that it after a few months all fainting is stopped and gets me driving again.

Thank you Richard, it’s not long now until you have the new pacemaker fitted. You have also been through a lot and it’s time your load was lightened. Do keep us posted with what you are up to. Hopefully the pacing will improve things for you.

I had a call from the hospital this evening telling me my operations next week have been postponed because of the doctors strike, but have been rebooked for 07 August. A disappointment but there is nothing I can do, except to get on with everything and with life.

I am feeling much better today.

Been digging out what tools I need to fit the new tap on the water barrel, main "tool" I need is someone daft enough to crawl inside the barrel to help undo the nut on the existing (leaky) tap then tighten the new one! I can't do it, my shoulders are wider than the top of the barrel
There are some big lads in the club who would not fit into the barrel. Sorry Steve I don’t know any little people who would be up to the task.

That must feel so disappointed with your operation being put back for you, for a while’.I certainly hope they don’t put you back again, I would be very disappointed if mine had been put off for a couple of weeks.
I hope you don’t get put back again Phil.

Morning all, Lousy nights sleep with this heat, We're in for rain & thunderstorms later this morning by the looks of things.

Haslet on toast for brekkie this morning.

That's a disappointment about your operation being postponed Phil after you've psyched yourself up for it & all the arrangements have been made.

Frustrating that your op has been put back Phil.

We're going up into town later to meet up with Ging's relatives who are here from the Philippines, their daughter is in a university down south, can't remember which and they're spending a couple of days in Edinburgh.

We've got the same forecast of thundery showers.

Chucking it down here now & there's a farmers style market on in the next town with roads closed off, What a shame about the wet stuff..

Cool

Out today with the Coffee and Cars Group at the Powderham Castle car meet. And our three guest cars arrived, McLaren MP-4 12c, Lamborghini Hurrican and Lamborghini STO. The STO is a lightened version on the Hurrican. Only thought to be 3 STO’s in the UK.

We had rain, lots of it and I still got sunburnt.

Back tomorrow.

I had another problem with a meal out this afternoon, made me feel terrible, although if you don’t get very easy bothered of anything, you wouldn’t happen to get like I feel quite easily.
I’m feeling very tired tonight so I better get off for a sleep.
