Hi Jeff, since Covid kicked off here in March, I have had to cut Jessica’s hair in the style of French Bob, three times. I got the full kit and the tools, so far I got it right every time.

Soon I'll find repose

And then I'll hold you in my dreams

Morning, day two of three early (5am) rises. I go back to bed once Ging is away but can never settle. Hard frost again, snow and freezing rain a possibility!

I wouldn't be overly happy to be offered the Chinese vaccine. Trail in Brasil showed it to be only 50.4% effective

Ging offered to cut my hair during the first lockdown, like hell! I'd rather end up looking like Captain Caveman.

Morning all - we had such a white frost late last night I could have sworn the cars had a covering of snow. It's cleared now, leaving a cold, overcast day with the threat of sleet showers both today and tomorrow

I had a treat yesterday - sister-in-law's hubby, a butcher, sent me a homemade beef steak pie - 6" diameter. He recommended that it wasn't frozen (says it spoils the pastry when you defrost it), so I had 3" for lunch and the other 3" for tea

Cool

We have sunshine, temperature is 12.5 degrees.

My mind keeps wandering off but leaves my brain behind. The news from London is not good.

Banana still not home, not that I’m going anywhere soon.

Sun is trying hard to put in an appearance and 11c today so hopefully that's the end of winter for us Southern Softies. We had three hard frosts last week and the council were starting to panic about running out of salt for the roads..
I know some people are concerned about buying "a seaside car" but never give a thought to the salt laden roads that they drive on every day for weeks on end in the winter, here even in a bad year the gritting lorries may be out for 10 days..
Decorating the kitchen this week to escape the boredom
Stay safe and don't forget to wear your mask when shopping

Aliexpress here I come

Blimey! Trying to pick a smart phone is hard work that's within your budget, Too many choices with a bewildering amount of different options, Do I choose Android 9 over Android 10, Do I get one with NFC, Do I get the less powerful Android 9 but has two years OTA updates, Do I get the much better spec Android 10 but doesn't have OTA updates or NFC

It's an headache & I'm thinking of telling the missus you get a new one because it'll be wasted on me & I'll have your old one, Still need a cheap data/phone contract hopefully off Virgin Media same as the house phone/broadband.

I wouldn't be ar$ed about one but if I need to pay for a fast charge at a public charger when the time comes then I'm going to need these things If there's one thing I've learned since following this EV malarkey over the years it's that you always need a Plan 'B'

It's darker than the dark side of the moon here with all the house lights on & still chucking it down with a high of 4C.

I used to be happy with my wife's hand me downs but she's big into iPhones now . . . . I'm not! No desire to have my life to be dependant on Apple. That and every new one she gets is bigger than the last.
