Like you I find the master cylinder reasonably easy to access, but allways seem to need to tap the cap with a screwdriver to loosen, that is the most awkward part for me.

Essential for you guys with clutches:-

Fill with fresh fluid, attach to bleed nipple with a tube and reverse bleed to master. They can also be used to suck the old fluid out of the master prior to bleeding. Place a bowl and plenty of absorbent material under the master to avoid spillage onto carpet (not recommended on pedals!).
