An excellent idea - I can't wait: only 75,000 miles or thereabouts to go! (that'll be about 5 years I reckon).

Should there be a badge for half that distance - The 'Half Moon Club' perhaps ??

And perhaps a special badge for the low milers (below 50k maybe?) - We can call it the 'End of the Street and No further' club

Like the look of that, and think I qualify - I'm well on the way back.

It's fascinating how differently 75's in different countries are considered.
In Australia Rovers have a very different place in automotive history.
Not a chance in a million would one end up as a taxi. We have Holdens and locally designed Fords for that.
When Rovers were rebadged Hondas we had government policies designed to aid our local manufacturers and had Holden designed and built cars rebadged as Toyotas. Nope. We didnt fall for it. Long story... But...point is, rebadging was seen as a sort of sin. Rovers were seen as Hondas and then the brand disappeared altogether.
Rover as genuine Rovers reappeared with the 75 briefly then disappeared again.
Now the 75 is seen as a very rare luxury vehicle that's most likely way too expensive to maintain. Just about right too

Yes Brian Frosty's twin has now done 228000 so between us we can beat the taxi mileage - they must have been hotbunking to get it that far.

Hope the engine wasn't running when you took the pic.

Am working away this week so will post a photo of the auto's mileage when I get back.
