Default CV Boot kits

Were the diesel outer joint (CV) boot kits different to the petrol?

Rimmers have ZUA000980 listed for diesel, and TDR100940 listed for petrol.

Of course the ZUA is a remanufacture job made by Shaftech, but anyone know what the prior number was before supercession and was it the same as the petrol one above?

I cant work out why the petrol and diesel boot should be different... different diameter shafts perhaps?
