Default Rear interior light (saloon)

Old question I know, but does anyone have a good method of overcoming the well known issue of broken rear lugs on the rear interior light unit? Second hand units are a ridiculous price (last one I saw they were asking £40) and I don't want to glue it to the headlining. Ideas?

I glued the broken lugs back in place and then used Araldite between the lugs to strengthen them in place. With a replacement light I'd add the araldite as a precaution.

£40 for a secondhand one, some dismantlers take the p’ss I’ve always priced mine at £25, if anyone tries it at £40 they are having a laugh, the industry doesn’t need people trying to take customers to the cleaners....

I’ve never artificially inflated my prices and never will....

I carefully positioned two small screws so the heads caught on the edge of the hole.--Then I surrounded them with araldite to stop any further movement. Been there quite a while now and holding perfectly.---
