Mg ev
One of my neighbours has an MG EV with the "unfortunate" reg number ending in "HGF"! You couldn't make it up but most folks don't see the significance of it!

There is a chap that I know has a MG6 with HGF on his number plate. And he knows all about HGF’s having had a few on his MGF.

Sadly you can't back date number plates so the car the plate is fitted to has to be newer or the same age as the plate. Had my entire surname available on a plate once, but it had to go on a 2019 or newer car so I didn't bother. My sister did though. |

Ready for a bit of ‘Oh, bless him’? There are all kinds of reasons behind pernos. Some rude, some funny, some hoity toity and some just plain crass. I have one though that could only be of interest to Celia and me.
There are three numbers first and they relate to the day of our wedding (the day in the month) with the last number being 0 and the start of our lives together. The remaining three letters are my initials. We have had it since 1963 (yep, married 61 years and counting) and went onto my 1968 2000TC. As a stickler for accuracy I always introduce her as my first wife. I dread to think what it might be worth now but it doesn’t matter as it will never be sold, our first born will get it whenever.
