Ask Supervinnie40 if you can buy his off him when he takes them off. I have had them on since the beginning and mine seem ok.

On Ebay there are " Black Universal Adjustable Automatic Car Boot Lid lifting Spring" not made for MG-Rover but perhaps it works.
I can ask Supervinnie, he lives in Tilburg must be a Dutchman...i think |

Don't think so. I've posted several pictures of my car on here, but I doubt any of them have ended up in the clubs gallery. Never asked how to be eligible for it neither. I haven't gotten an up-to-date photo of the car either at the moment. As a detailer I usually just make pictures af specific section lol. I'm getting some work in the beginning of August with Rik from RoverWorks. So that would be a good time to make some new photo's.

Torpedoes ?
Last year i had contact with Roverworks about tuning my car, Rik told me that it was possible to tune the car to 200 HP or even more. Now the car has about 160, is enough, but with a little bit more smootness the car would drive much better. More Horse Power is not a solution, alas |

Torpedoes? Not sure what you mean?
I'm gonna get the 75 lowered. More power isn't an option on the 1.8 unfortunately. But I can still improve the lines of the car.

These are simply the badges on the doors which show the engine size! They are torpedo shaped.
https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=to...=1920&bih=1067 They were not originally on the facelift cars. Mike
