Default Yle102330 alternators

YLE102330 denso alternators used on the kv6 petrol versions. does anyone know where to purchase slip rings/brushes/ and voltage regulators in the UK for this model ? i know they are old versions these days compared to modern equivalents , but someone must still supply parts or equivalents i would have thought. i have 3 spares sitting in the shed and im reluctant to buy a new / old stock version. i cannot even find a slip ring supplier , even though they are basically just only a bush. seems a waste to cannibalise the other three , i would rather refurbish. Finally do the voltage regulators have a good lifespan on average ? advise appreciated as always. ... and better still point me in the direction of a uk supplier for old denso parts or eqivalent parts that will fit physically ...

Here's another lead to try Stefan, Wood Auto in Huddersfield. I used them for parts when I was refurbishing my SD1's starter motor.

thanks dave , but it seems that mat would have offered these parts for sale if he could get them, the same as he does for the diesel models. i think that is why he will supply an new/old stock version instead, for the petrol models. Probably if the parts were still available , they would come at a premium cost usually from the USA and with stupid carriage costs and import taxes. the new/old stock versions from mat will have 20year old dried white grease in the bearings and need replacing , as i found out after buying from best of british rover. thanks for reply. ...
