Default Hi-Line complete kit might be for sale soon

Hi All,

Not a 'for sale' yet, but I have just ordered Sean's head unit - once it is delivered and I have got it working, I was thinking of offering my 2004's Hi-Line kit for sale. This will be the entire set, except for the loom - which I think comprises the head unit + satnav/CD unit with map CD's + the two units (radio and TV) in the spare wheel well and an IPOD adaptor kit + the adaptor that ensures the later IPOD/IPHONE charges. All are working fine, I'm just upgrading.

So what please - would be a fair price to offer these items at, when the time does come to part with them?

You won't sell it as a complete set up without the loom...

Sell it as individual components and you'll make some good money....

Sorry, I probably could have worded it better - I wanted the individual values for each part of the complete kit to offer them separately.

Thanks for that Greeners.

It's the Mk III unit and I'm open to offers at the lower figures you suggested...

Head unit £140
SatNav MKIII unit £100 including CD's
Audio Module £50
Video Module £50

So if anyone wishes to reserve any of the items subject to my new system install working out OK, they are welcome, but it is a week or two away yet.

Personally I think Greener's is a bit optimistic on the price for the head unit.

At £140, there's a lot on Ebay and I reckon you'd be lucky to get £75, the video and radio modules are spot on though. And have just sold a Mk3 for £80 and bought a BMW mk3 for £100. So that could be less.

I would be intersted in the Mk3 for £80.

Stubs

As said it will be a while yet, but I'll certainly keep your offer in mind. I don't mind buying via Ebay, but I would much rather sell these items direct to club members without ebay taking their cut.

Just got the email off Sean with my tracking number .

Once fitted I will be selling a Symphony radio with Lo Line and a Mk3 Sat Nav unit. Would rather sell to a member than place on eBay. The prices for them I havnt a clue

I have also retrofitted the Trafficmaster and Bluetooth phone I bought from Les. Not sure if their will be a need for the trafficmaster after I fit the new unit and will have to test bluetooth on the new unit to see if ok as it has had a mixed review IIRC.

I have TMC and Trafficmaster. I find the TM is still quite useful - it seems to provide the more immediate data and it is there in your face, quick to interpret.

Cheers Harry but will it still be a useable addition after fitting the new unit? Suppose by leaving it in it wont hurt nothing.
