television problem
I had a shock today when i discovered my tlevsion option had dissapeared from my screen!! I now have "trip" as the option in its place, which when clicked on shows computer trip information.
I am at a loss to understand what has happened... anyone come across this before? it was working Ok 2 weeks ago... |

Understand that we will all lose that facility in due course, something to do with modernising how Tv is broadcast
Apparently a gizmo of some kind is available on the market that will overcome the problem Maybe guys in ICE forum will advise? Later, good move Thomas---- Last edited by Martynp; 29th January 2011 at 21:18.. Reason: later |

It should still be there as an option on the screen but you won't get a picture in a digital area.

The Video module is located in the spare wheel well behind a plastic cover, and it's the box on the left. Check that there isn't any water sloshing around that area that may have caused the video module to malfunction. If all is dry, I would suggest doing a battery reset to clear any electrical glitches. But please observe the correct sat nav shutdown procedure first: 1) Open bonnet, drivers door and boot, then don't touch any other doors or buttons 2) Wait about 45 secs - 1 min for the nav computer in the boot to shutdown, the red LED will flash then go out. Once that has happened, without opening any other doors etc disconnect the battery and wait for 20 mins before reconnecting. There is no radio code to worry about with the high line system. |

Yes you will through the AV channel
The op said the televison option had disappeared from his options on the screen. Unless the tuner is either disconnected or has had water in it the option should still be there even if no tv signal available. If the tuner is faulty the screen graphics will appear chunkier |
