Default Flat spot at 4000rpm...

Hi

I just sorted the exhaust on my ZTT 1.8T and when I was gonna give it some juice threw a tunnell I felt that the revs was nice and powerful but at 4000rpm they dozed of and then returned at early 5000rpms..

How come?

Ive read that it could be the boost valve on the airbox?

Thanks in advance for useful advice
