Funnily enough it isn't illegal to blank off the EGR, but it is widely reported that it is an offence under the Road vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations to use a vehicle which has been modified in such a way that it no longer complies with the air pollutant emissions standards it was designed to meet. My EGR is blanked off and has been like that for several years now.
Never had an issue with it.

important thing is dont matter what stage its called and what others say as long as you are happy and is work is good enough to recommend thats all that matters had my zt done by tom forse over a year ago i also changed the heads put larger throttle body poly bushes ect car went a bit quicker it already had a duel exhaust v8 style last week went for a tuned full stainless from mij at walsal car no flys it all works like it should

As long as the extra torque doesn't kill off an aging clutch everything is fine.----------- New clutch parts over here Sir.
