Default Heated and no heated seat bases

My heated leather seat foam has deteriorated, and I have the foam base from non heated seats, so my question is are the heating elements built into the foam or a separate pad which I could swap over ??

Thanks Scott

they are partly stuck and partly "clipped" in place as far as I know.

I think Rimmers may have the heating elements

The sports seats heated pads are just stuck on and can be removed and changed.

It is also possible to use both passenger seat foams on the drivers seat, ive just done this. My seat feels new and unused now, all you need to do is cut out side air bag hole and use it to fill the other side, u dont notice when the leather is fitted over.

Thanks it's just the driver's seat squab thats gone and I have the 2 squabs from the old seats so I'll probably use the passenger one as it's had less wear. Ive got to test the heated seat base to see if it works but just needed to know if the heated pad was separate before I started to strip it all down.
