Twilight sings a song
All the happiness that used to be

Soon my eyes will close
Soon I'll find repose
And in dreams, you're always near to me

I'll see you in my dreams
And then I'll hold you in my dreams

I appealed the fees and guess what, the family members responsible for them are now attacking me for every single penny which they think that they can extract from this and my mum's passing. Reality is, courtesy of the pandemic, the appeal was put on hold for over one year while the local NHS trust prioritized Covid and the appeal is yet to be decided. Yeah, I have been forced to instruct a solicitor, not cheap at all, and I expect will get a lot more expensive when a barrister is called into the mix on the roadway to court. Problem there is, courts have a big backlog of cases to deal with courtesy of the pandemic. I would make allowance for Covid in your situation Richard, over the last year or so everything normal is not now so.
This has nothing to do with the pandemic Steve, it’s just idiots messing about, the housing market has remained open throughout the lockdowns.

Cool

Morning everyone.

It’s a bit cloudy today.

2 years ago yesterday I bought my new home, and I’m still loving it.

Morning all.

Overcast and dry here. Still a bit nippy but no sign of any frost .

Quizzie & Bertie had their usual couple of hours of lunacy . Really peaceful afternoon .

The local bird life have found the feeders and we're having a steady stream of visitors all through the day. No sign of Mr squirrel aka The Destroyer as yet.

SWMBO keeps on about getting jobs in the house done .

I want to wash, polish, wax, hoover etc the Tourer.

Guess who's winning.......

I'll give you a clue - The Tourer hasn't been touched for about the same time as Trikey's ZT.

Be a happy as you can and take care.

G'day one and all - Spring didn't last long did it !
We're back to cold, grey and cloudy again with a forecast of even colder weather by the weekend.
We got our annual gas & electric costs reconciliation bill yesterday. Pleasantly surprised that find that the difference between what we've paid and what we've used is only £70 odd. I was expecting a lot more than that bearing in mind how much stick I/we have given the heating this past Winter. As usual we'll easily pay that off during the Spring, Summer and Autumn when (hopefully!) our usage of gas in particular will reduce dramatically.

Hi Rich,

It's babysitting this weekend .

I'll bring my Damart underwear and thermals, My body warmer and gloves . And, of course, my shorts, string vest and flip flops (if you're Australian they're called "Thongs" - much confusion in translation) for going into town .

Should be up on Friday and probably going home Monday or Tuesday.

Maybe chance for a meet up on Monday?

Take it easy.
