Love where we are, not a big garden but surrounded by greenery. Next to and behind us is the mining museum with a Cornish beam engine (only one in Scotland), other side of the museum grounds to the rear is woodland then a golf course. 20 yards in front of the cottages is the main road, 100 yards or so at the other side of the main road is the Firth Of Forth. Only the four cottages, everybody gets on with everybody, helps everybody, watches out for everybody.

Not a bad view from the garden gate!

Is your place here or in France? For a lot of people those sorts of places are just out of their price range and for the others... I just wonder how they got to be so rich.

In France where the property is half the price of that in GB.---

PS. The cars here are TWICE the price they can be bought for in GB.--

The area was so large my wife drew up plans ( with me doing the work of course ) to divide the area into 5 sections. One of those pictures was of the front garden.

We have a side garden with gazebo in the garden along side the barn.

The area at the back of the house was split into three sections.

1/ The swimming pool.

2/ The stone garden shown in one of those two pictures.

3/ The very large vegetable plot at the end for tomartos, potatoes, beans and cucumbers etc.
