My wife (a nurse) had no real reaction to the 1st Pfizer jag, like you she was warned there might be a side effects from 2nd one and it felled her for several days. It wasn't immediate, really kicked in a couple of days later.

Had AZ a few weeks back, no side effects. My arm hurt more after the flu jab!
All good round two soon.

I heard similar at the surgery - side effects with the second Pfizer, side effects with the first AZ.

My wife had her second Phizer jab on the 8th April- she felt a bit tired afterwards but I reminded her she was 82! Seriously any vaccination is likely to make you a bit/or a lot wozzy, its what it does. Im sure there are others who can remember the jabs you had as a National Serviceman, 9 of them, 4 in one arm, 5 in the other, all given at the same time and you were excused duties for the rest of the day-and boy the side effects!!! But we were all youngmen. Chris S.

I'm ineligible to book mine as my birthday was after March 30th. I'll cling on to being younger than I am for the foreseeable.

The increase in numbers having received their first jab have slowed down but this is because more of the appointment slots are taken up by people now receiving their second one.
