I've now posted a wanted ad for the spacers in question. Been getting confused, having been told that the seals and spacers should remain inside the injection rail.and shouldnt come away on the end of the feed pipe?.

The spacers in question are in the attachment below.
The spacer I am missing is the smallest one of the two spacers.

Thanks
Rob

The rings and the small spacer will usually stick in the rail end when the pipe is pulled out. It's the natural way the joint will separate due to the relative areas of contact. If you have to replace the rings, then all three components have to be winkled out of the rail end. This is without doubt when many spacers get lost. Refitting the rings and spacer is most logically done by fitting them onto the pipe end before re-insertion. Trying to fit them into the rail end first is prone to error. The rings need some sort of lube. Silicone grease is fine for all o-ring rubbers. If they're viton, then any sort of grease /Vaseline will do.

Thanks for clearing this up TC now on to finding a solution be it a rail from a breaker and taking the spacers from that or just using the rail.

Thanks
Rob

I'd suggest asking a local vehicle dismantler or looking on eBay. These bits aren't available as MGR spares so you'll have to find them second hand. Fuel rail parts for the KV6 are occasionally listed on eBay.

Thanks you. But here in France, it's difficult to find v6 parts. Is it possible to secure the rail with another clip ?

There are one or two second hand spares/dismantlers here on the forum. It would be worth making contact with those guys.
