Default Myanmar

Morning, it’s with sadness I’ve read in the press of the military coup in Myanmar. My wife and I had a month backpacking in that lovely country about 10 yrs ago when it was just opening up. The people and places were fantastic, they were pictures of their beloved leader everywhere, everyone seemed to love her. Democracy is fragile there, I hope it will sort itself out without a bloodshed.

I suspect there is some descent within the army. I’m hoping with enough civil protest the army may step aside. I would love to go back there and visit the north. The people are wonderful.
