Trouble is a dealer is always going to charge a premium to cover overheads and make a profit. You buy private and you dont get that, well mostly! The warranties often are not worth it and offer nothing more than one you can buy private.

I'm not actually looking for another car Bernard,I justsaw thatfor sale as I was passing, and thought I would post it up ,as to me it seemed expensive.
That garage often gets 75s in,I've seen 3 different ones there in recent months, have to say though, that blue one is immaculate.

Is'nt it odd though, I do the same, always take a lingering look at a 75! I work in Stevenage and lunchtime we go for a wander and yesterday spotted a recovery company just down the road with a tourer and saloon in the yard. Couldn't see if they were damaged or stolen recovered but the saloon had a for sale sign £999.

I took a 2003 1.8t club se tourer with 76k on it to a dealer a week ago.He showed me class's guide their bible trade price £1000.Gave me £1200 on a trade in.
So I think its well over priced about £1600-£1800 from a dealer would be fair price
