Afternoon all, Bleddy hell!!! they've finished & gone, They managed to get every bit of spoil back in the hole & flattened the "lawn" down again It was an absolute muddy mess with the wet weather & was never going to look like it did before the leccy board started but they've re-seeded the entire lawn for me
Just been power washing the flags on the driveway again & outside the drive gates to clear the bits of mud and that mini JCB digger had an oil leak.

Cant really complain they did a good job in the end & I'll give em full marks online for going the extra distance of re-seeding my lawn.

I've just opened a bottle of Henry's apple juice & a handful of painkillers, I'll be asleep by 8:00pm.

Just started preparing dinner, honey lemon chicken. Chicken thighs in a honey and lemon sauce. Only problem is all I did was chop up one lemon and both wrists are nagging like hell. Was just the right one that was bothering me but the left has built up over the last few days and is now coming a close second

That looks bootiful Jeff, I cant remember the last time we had toad in the hole here.
We had oven fish & chips with mushy peas for tea.

Snap! Could tell you when I last had toad in the hole, it was a frozen-oven job I do remember that much.

Honey lemon chicken was lovely. Hadn't made it for a while.

Sounded good Steve, We had some lemon Italian seasoning mix for chicken once & it was really good, I've just sown some lemon balm seeds to try & grow some for use in cooking.

Evening all, been to spec savers with Deb tonight, she has lost that much weight her glasses kept falling of her head! Specs adjusted and all is well, called at McDonald’s for a coffee while we were out and Meg had a burger for tea!

Simple to make. Best to use chicken thighs (8-10), need one red onion, garlic (a lot!), one lemon, honey, chicken stock cube, dried or fresh oregano . . . . that's it! Usually have it with rice, great for soaking up the sauce.

Try it.
